Millie was born in Cleveland, on May 8, 1926, the second of seven, siblings. A graduate of West Tech High School, Millie studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art and Kent State University, where she refined a creativity that was evident in all aspects of her life. She sewed costumes for dancers, made beautifully tailored clothing for her daughters, was a terrific cook and made the best Christmas cookies in the world. It is as a potter that Millie's creativity became most evident.

Her pottery won prizes in regional art shows, was chosen for juried shows and received recognition in galleries. Millie will be remembered as one who loved to laugh and who saw the humor in everyday situations. She always focused on the positive. Her children and grandchildren were the fortunate beneficiaries of her love of babies and children and of her guidance and direction. They loved her dearly and will miss her greatly.

She is survived by Joseph B. Firak (Strongsville) and their four children, Nancy Lee Firak (Cincinnati), Dr. Joseph D. Firak (LaRonge, Saskatchewan), Phyllis Firak-Mitz and her spouse, Dr. Richard Mitz (Los Angeles) and James M.

In October 2007, he was named the Director of the Ohio Administrative District Council which Included all 88 counties of Ohio and 77 counties In Kentucky. He was an Executive Council member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers. In May 2005, he opened up the now known Robert A. Fozio Regional Training Center for all craft apprentices and journeyman upgrading.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and he spent several years as a professional archer. In recent years, Bob developed a love for sporting clays and spent his free time shooting with his brother Don and "brother" Wayne.
