Today we honor the brave heroes of D-Day, who stormed the beaches of Normandy 80 years ago. Their Courage and sacrifice on June 6, 1944, helped to secure the freedoms and lives we live today. Seen in the images below is the LST-262, built by the American Bridge Company in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. The ship earned 2 battle stars for its service in World War II servicing in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.#BuildingGreatThings
