Week 4 and here's book number 4.A controversial title but still a powerful read with yet so much practical knowledge.A book I would recommend to anyone who would like to re-examine values, belief systems and motivations. A book that's relevant to this age and others to come. A book that truly asks you why you care too much whether people like you or not? Whether you are up to date or not.One quote I got from this book is this,"The desire for a more positive experience is itself a negative experience. And, paradoxically, the acceptance of one's negative experience is itself a positive experience."I still don't understand the quote but it helps to summarise the book. As I sat down today, thinking to write about my favorite books on World Book Day, I realized I could end up writing a whole new book myself! Books have always been my safe place, ever since I was a kid.I love reading about spirituality and psychology, trying to understand how people think and why they do what they do. Each book isn't just words on a page; it's like a wise friend guiding me through life's ups and downs.I've learned so much from them - like the importance of being creative just for the joy of it, or how to live in harmony with myself. These books have taught me about finding peace in silence, and even about embracing my emotions. They're not just stories; they're my teachers, showing me how to live a fuller, richer life.I could never pick one favorite book, and maybe that is for the best.
