When I started my career, I wanted to stay in the same company for a really long time (at that time, this meant 15 to 20 years). Because that's what everyone around me seemed to be doing. They joined a company, maybe shifted a couple of times, and then stayed in the same organization till they retired ✅ What I understood later was, though everyone around me was doing this, it was not the norm. After some research (though not very in-dept, I must admit), I found that on an average, people change their jobs every 2 to 5 years 🤷♀️ So very naively, I thought, "Ok, let me also do that. It's what everyone seems to be doing and it's working for them" (I was in my early twenties, so no judgements there 😁)It took me many years to understand the truth behind it all. The truth being, it is not a mandate to changes companies every 2 or 3 years, nor is it a mandate to spend 20 years of your career in a single organization. There is no mandate (yes, there is no secret ingredient 🐼). So after many failures, hasty decisions, & short-term thinking I realized, the best way to decide how long to stay in a place is by choosing the option that aligns with your long- term career goals and short-term priorities. Do what's best for you at that moment but without losing focus on your future aspirations 💪 This is what I did when I joined Leadle as a part-time consultant 2 years ago. And if someone invented an affordable way to time travel, I would go back to the "me" 2 years back and profusely thank her, because this is one of the best decisions I have ever made 😎 The last 2 years with Leadle have been nothing short of an adventure. I'm so looking forward to what the next 2 years have in store for me 👀 🚀 #leadle #leadliteforlife #2years #workanniversary #career #focus #storycontinues

Today, I celebrate my 7-year anniversary in the United States. Seven years ago, I undertook a profound transformation, condensing my life into a single suitcase. In a new land, navigating a different language and culture, I faced countless challenges. Despite these obstacles, I've achieved notable milestones in both my professional and personal life.I am deeply grateful with God and the incredible support network I've had along the way. From my parents, my husband, mentors who guided me through career choices to my friends and family who cheered me on during the toughest times, their belief in me has been invaluable.Achievements such as securing promotions, successfully completing challenging projects, and reaching personal milestones have been significant markers of my progress during these 7 years.Through this journey, I've learned valuable lessons about resilience, the importance of confidence, and the power of determination. These insights have shaped me both personally and professionally. As I look ahead, I am excited about my future goals and aspirations. I aim to continue making a positive impact in my field and community, serving as an inspiration to others who embark on similar journeys. Finally, I want to recognize the incredible courage exhibited by my parents when they made the momentous decision to embark on this journey with us. Their journey has been equally demanding, if not more so, and their sacrifices have been truly remarkable. This 7-year milestone is just one chapter in my journey, and I'm eager to see what the future holds.#Latina #Resilience #Confidence #Determination #LatinaLeaders #ImmigrantJourney

On October 18th I celebrated 2 year work anniversary. I planned to write something inspiring about my accomplishments of my last two years but I want to focus on the last 2 weeks: - controlling emotions: me joining a zoom meeting, pausing for a siren and being able to switch back to business;- managing two teams: one at work and one at home, consisting of a 5-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy.- remaining focused and on track: me conducting a presentation while my little one cheerfully turned his mealtime into a colorful spectacle to capture my attention. - training a lot on taking the right priorities: whether it is cooking a meal/taking a shower/cleaning apartment during my lunch break;- staying professional: refraining from tuning into media, news, or social networks during work hours to shield myself from any updates about additional kidnapped or killed civilians, some of whom may be familiar faces. I love my job and value the opportunities it brings. And I am grateful I a have a different reality I can switch into where the war is not happening. I want to show how incredibly strong we are because what I described above is happening to almost each family in Israel today. Nothing will break us. I stand with Israel.

Happy 6-month work anniversary to me! 🎉Can't believe how quickly time flies when you're learning and growing! Here are some updates on my journey:1. Exciting news! I was honored with a 2023 Performance Recognition Award for my hard work and dedication. 2. I've been honing my PowerPivot and data skills in Excel, and it's been an enlightening journey. 3. I've been immersed in our ERP system and have made significant strides in becoming proficient in it. 4. Creating meaningful relationships has been a highlight for me. Building strong connections with colleagues and partners has been incredibly rewarding. 5. Gaining insight into the operational workings of a larger company, especially in a new industry, has been invaluable. It's given me a clearer perspective on how to drive positive change. Here's to more challenges, more growth, and more achievements in the next six months and beyond! 🚀

🥳 WORK ANNIVERSARY 🥳3 years ago I started this job, and when 3 years could seem not much in one's work life, those 3 past years were very radical on my side.As the video shows, I started as a simple junior 'on my own' with no one to manage and the team quickly grew to manage over 10 people today (missing some people on the video!)If I have to look back over these three years, 3 words come to mind: challenging, teaching and out of my comfort zone.Over and above my team-leading and recruitment skills, these three years have taught me 'life' skills that have helped me in both my professional and personal life:1️⃣ Knowing how to take advice and, above all, applying it without questioning it and trusting experienced people;2️⃣ On the other hand, questioning yourself on a weekly or even daily basis;3️⃣ Being open-minded about the opinions of others and the situations in which people may find themselves;4️⃣ And finally, working in an 'agile' way and knowing that no situation is fixed and that you have to adapt to change; In short, 3 great enriching years in which I came across wonderful people as well! Big shout out to the best team for following me in my ideas of video 😂and for making these 3 years go by so quickly, thanks to all those daily laughs! When things get hard…This is what it actually means:1. You are doing something that’s meaningful to you.2. Success will taste a lot better later.3. You are getting a training on handling hard for when it gets hardER.4. You get an opportunity to sharpen skills.5. You get an opportunity to realign yourself with your true values.6. You got an opportunity to cut down on distractions.7. You got an opportunity to create great memories (this one day is going to be the ‘good old days’).8. You got a great opportunity to learn something new about yourself. This is what it actually means among other cool things. My LinkedIn network is reminding me today is my work anniversary. So this is the perspective I'd like to share with you. When it gets hard, that's one of the main ingredients for magic to happen. So, take it the way it comes!

What a wild ride so far. I just celebrated my 9 year anniversary here commonsku. I think work anniversary's are funny. Thank yous and praise for staying somewhere. Likely because we are in a job market where people pop from one company to another, climbing the company directories by changing location. But not me, I've always been here. The question I get asked by far the most when I interview people for my department is "why". Again, to me this is funny. I work in a place that allows me to be my sarcastic, honest and sometimes stubborn self. A place that supports me professionally and personally. Where I am trusted in my decisions, opinions and thoughts. I am allowed to make mistakes, celebrate wins and (what I tell everyone in interviews) I don't need to pretend to be someone else between 9 and 5. Maybe I get asked because it is rare to find a place that does this. But that's the reason I should be saying thank you. This isn't meant to be a sappy post or telling you all how awesome my job, my coworkers, my bosses and my customers all are. I don't write my thoughts out often, but I feel like this is owed. A thank you from me to all of those people I just mentioned for allowing me to be here for 9 years, allowing me to be successful, trusting in me and making my work something I legitimately love to do. 9 years is just the start of my journey here. And I'm pumped to see what I can do in the next 9.
