WWE Clash At The Castle 2024 date and time as Drew McIntyre can rewrite history (2024)

WWE Clash At The Castle is coming to Glasgow next month and hometown hero Drew McIntyre has a huge opportunity.

Almost two years after losing at the inaugural Clash At The Castle event in Cardiff, the Scottish Warrior – who held the World Heavyweight Title for just five minutes at WrestleMania – could win the gold in his home nation, with tickets on sale now.

The former world champion is confirmed to be facing current World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest at the premium live event at the OVO Hydro arena on June 15.

Drew did win the title from Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40 early in April, but less than 5 minutes and 30 seconds later, CM Punk left him lying on his back as Priest capitalised by cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase.

The Scottish superstar was ruled out of the King of the Ring tournament due to injury, but he’s been cleared to wrestle again and will get a shot at revenge in Glasgow, four years after winning his first world title in front of no fans during the pandemic.

Here is everything you need to know about next month’s huge show.

When is WWE Clash At The Castle?

WWE Clash At The Castle airs Saturday, July 15, with the premium live event kicking off at 7pm for fans watching in the UK.

How can you watch WWE Clash At The Castle?

The usual Kickoff preview show – which is available to stream via the WWE Network, as well as WWE.com, the WWE app, X, Facebook, YouTube and Twitch – will start an hour before the main show. So, that will be 6pm.

Fans not lucky enough to be there in person will be able to tune into the main Clash At The Castle event either live or on demand via the WWE Network, or by ordering the show on TNT Sports Box Office.

Of course, that will change in the New Year with WWE’s content set to move to Netflix in January 2025 as part of a huge $5 billion deal.

How to get WWE Clash At The Castle tickets – single and combos

After initially only offering tickets as part of a combo including SmackDown at the same venue the previous night (June 14), WWE is now selling single event tickets for just Clash At The Castle or SmackDown.

WWE Clash At The Castle predictions

Drew McIntyre HAS to become World Heavyweight Champion in Glasgow, no doubt about it.

September will mark two years since he came up short during Roman Reigns’ historic world title run, but there is no such logistical obstacle in the Scottish Warrior’s path this time.

He deserves this moment in front of a hometown crown, especially after his WrestleMania win turned sour thanks to the Money In The Bank cash-in.

That disappointment with Damian Priest was justified though, setting the stage for this chance at an emotional victory with his family in the front row.

Then, there is the not-insignificant matter of CM Punk waiting in the wings, and he could always be the one to spoil McIntyre’s moment once more.
