Their debut album was recorded at Discount Mirrors, the LA studio co-owned by John Dwyer, and released on In The Red. Catch them live at Berlin in August 9 and at TV Eye on August 11, and right here on WFMU!

He masterfully combines traditional Gwo Ka music from Guadeloupe with contemporary Jazz improvisation. OoD host David Mittleman has put together a three hour feature on the music of Guadeloupe, including an interview with Arnaud Dolmen.

They’ll discuss the movie's diverse soundtrack, featuring Devo, Rumble Bees, and Dave Hill, and premiere its alternative theme song, "Welcome to the $%@! Drunk Bus," ultimately removed from the soundtrack.

Grant McPhee has established himself as an expert on the Scottish post-punk and indie scenes by way of his documentary films New Gold Dream (2015) and Teenage Superstars (2017), as well as co-writing the book Hungry Beat: The Scottish Pop Underground Movement (77-84) in 2022. Evan will talk with McPhee about his new book, which is an oral history that recounts the radical transformation of Scotland’s independent music scene from 1983-1995.

In anticipation of the reissue of his 1985 LP “Dancing the Line,” OoD host David Mittleman interviewed Steve Beresford for a three hour blowout of his extensive and wide ranging catalogue.
