The Moapa Valley Corn Maze returns for a slate of fun fall activities. Enjoy zombie paintball, pumpkin patches, and more now through the end of the month.

Halloween Town pumpkin patches- through Tuesday, Oct. 31

Three of the valley's most popular pumpkin patches are returning for the 2023 season. The original Halloween Town location at Boca Park is designed for children 2-10 years old. Bring the entire family and enjoy all that October has to offer. Our two additional locations, in the Southwest and Silverado Ranch, also include full-size rides, carnival games, food, and attractions for guests of all ages.

Asylum-Hotel Fear- through Tuesday, Oct. 31

Asylum-Hotel Fear is back and this season, they continue to upgrade the totally new Asylum, adding a new room and a bunch of new animations and effects. Hotel Fear has also added a whole new trailer creating several new rooms and adding new animations and scares. The attractions are always changing, upgrading, and adapting.

The iconic Sand Dollar Lounge will once again transform itself into Nightmare on Spring Mountain this fall. Returning for the fourth year, Nightmare on Spring Mountain is a fully immersive, hauntingly entertaining Halloween pop-up experience, complete with bone-chilling specialty drinks, live music, and more than $10,000 in Halloween décor and lighting.

Henderson Hot Rod Days- Friday, Oct. 6 & Saturday, Oct. 7

Calling all car enthusiasts! Henderson Hot Rod Days revs back onto Water Street for the annual tradition featuring 500 classic vehicles and thousands of attendees. New this year is Hot Rod Happy Hour, where Henderson Hot Rod-goers can enjoy food and drink specials from participating Water Street District restaurants and breweries. In addition, a variety of food trucks and vendors will be onsite.

FuelFest is back for a second year in the Las Vegas valley. The popular Halloween parade is back with a slate of new scares and fun. The event will be free and open to the public, taking place along Park Centre Drive.

HallOVeen at Opportunity Village's Magical Forest- Friday, Oct. 6

The 10th Annual HallOVeen at the Magical Forest returns to Opportunity Village. Tickets are on sale now and directly support people with disabilities in Southern Nevada. Spread across a 2.5-acre theme park that comes alive with spooky creatures of all shapes and sizes at night, visitors will meet many of these beings while walking through a cemetery surrounded by hundreds of decorated trees and jack-o-lanterns.

  • 5:30 to 6:30 pm:no scares in the forest so anyone can feel comfortable touring and enjoying the decorations
  • 7 pm to close: guests can enjoy a monster parade trickling into the forest where the creatures will lurk for the evening. Younger guests can receive free monster repellant if they don’t want to engage with the forest creatures later in the evening. (Orange glow sticks will be available to use as a signal to repel the monsters.)

Wild and Scenic Film Festival- Saturday, Oct. 7

Tickets are still available for the 11th Annual Wild and Scenic Film Fest, a fun and informative way to spend part of this warm fall weekend. The variety of featured films ranges from four to 17 minutes long and includes a wide range of fascinating stories about how people are inspired by and work hard to save our natural environment. Tickets are just $12 per person. No tickets are needed for children 13 and younger. Nevada State Parks also charges a $10 fee to enter the area.

BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon Halloween/Nevada Day events- Friday, October 27 & Sunday, October 29

In celebration of Nevada Day on Friday, Oct. 27, BattleBots will welcome the Nellis Air Force Base’s 99 Security Forces Squadron and Civil Engineering Squadron to the BattleBots Arena. “DESTRUCT-A-THON” attendees can learn about the U.S. Air Force’s semi-autonomous, “Robot Dogs,” as well as STEM- and robotics-related careers available within the military. The U.S. Air Force Airmen’s special display will be on view prior to that evening’s 7 p.m. showtime.

Guests are also encouraged to wear costumes to shows happening on Friday, Oct. 27, Saturday, Oct. 28, and Sunday, Oct. 29. Additional Halloween surprises will be in store, including robot combat teams dressed in costume, a uniquely decorated set and more.

The Lion Habitat Ranch will be celebrating Halloween, where some of the animals will be receiving some Halloween-themed enrichment throughout the day. Festivities kick off with the carnival games at 5 p.m. and will lead into the annual golf cart parade at 7 p.m. where Lake Las Vegas residents and community partners will showcase their decorated carts.
