Tiger Baseball Season Ends With District Championship Loss

After rain impacted last weeks’ Class 3, District 12 tournament scheduled at Sarcoxie, the Stockton Tigers instead traveled to Neosho to take on the Southwest (Washburn) Trojans last Monday. Neosho High School hosted the district tournament as their field was synthetic turf, allowing the games to move forward despite the persistent heavy rains over recent days. Southwest (Washburn) had defeated Diamond on Saturday in a play-in game and faced the #1 seed Tigers in semifinal action.more

Last Friday and Saturday, the Class 1, 2, and 3 state track meet, hosted by Jefferson City High School, filled two warm and sunny days as schools from all over the state converged on the state capital. Both the Tigers and Lady Tigers were represented, hoping to be competitive with some of the best athletes in the state.more

Stockton competed at the State Solo/Small Ensemble Festival held in Columbia

Stockton students recently competed at the State Solo/Small Ensemble Festival held in Columbia. Those competing brought back gold and silver ratings. In order to move to the state competition, students had to receive an Exemplary rating at the district contest.more

The presentation of the “student of the month” award goes to one girl and one boy of Stockton high school. This award will be given each month during the 2023-2024 school year, and it is to recognize the Stockton high school students who have distinguished themselves through outstanding achievements in extra-curricular activities, academics, leadership, good citizenship, service to their school, and service to the community.more

Tigers Win Southwest Conference Championship; Districts Await

Last week, the Stockton Tigers closed out the regular season, including a victory over Peasant Hope, which gave the Tigers the Southwest Conference crown after the Tigers went undefeated in conference play. The Tigers finished the regular season with a 20-9 record, including a four game winning streak, as they enter district play.more

Golf Continues To Excel; Win Final Home Meet

Last Wednesday, the Stockton Tiger golf team hosted their final home golf meet as Adrian and Butler came to the Stockton Country Club. Led by Head Coach Andrew Boone and Assistant Coach Doug Haines, the Tigers continued to play excellent golf, taking first place in the match. Team scores were: Stockton, 178, Butler, 191, and Adrian 214. The Tigers were led by Owen Garver who shot a 43 as teammates Canaan Rutledge, Parker Phelan, and Layton Colvin all scored a 45. Gilberto Alexander shot a 48 on the 9 hole course.more

Charles Curless, a partner with MoMan Products, and Cheryl Cully, a representative of the Cully family trust and owner of Creative Notions on East Street, addressed the Stockton board Monday night concerning the expansion of MoMan Products for a new building to be built up to the property line of the Cully property. MoMan produces marijuana products that are distributed to businesses.more

DECA Competes at State CDC

On March 3-5, 2024, four El Dorado Springs High School DECA members competed at the State Career Development Conference at Crown Center in Kansas City, MO. Members of Missouri DECA gathered over those three days to network, compete, and gain leadership insights from keynote speakers, advisors, and the Missouri State Action Team. Students from El Dorado Springs that competed were juniors Kandon McGuirk and Noah Steward in Financial Literacy Project and seniors Allie Ashlock and Nathan Saderstrom in Community Giving Project.more

Last Thursday, the Tigers and Lady Tigers track teams traveled to Buffalo to compete against 18 other schools in the Buffalo Invitational. At the end of the day, the Tigers took sixth place while the Lady Tigers finished 7th.more
